P&P assists Francis for Easter Invitational Karate

P&P Insurance Brokers & Consultants Limited, a long-standing supporter of sports in Guyana, recently made a monetary contribution to Karateka Malcolm Francis, as he embarks on the Easter Invitational Open Karate Championships, set to be hosted next month.

During a simple presentation ceremony, P&P Account Executive Urmila Shamsundar handed over the cheque to Francis at the company’s Lamaha Street, Georgetown corporate office.

Francis will be representing the Association Do Shotokan Karate (ASK) Guyana at the Easter Invitational Open Karate Championship being held in St Vincent & the Grenadines from April 5 to 10, 2023.
The ASK was hoping for at least 10 karatekas to attend and compete at next month’s event. One karateka already confirmed is Guyana Police Force (GPF) Assistant Superintendent Keith Beaton.
The Easter Invitational is organised by the Hairouna Karate Federation, and will be hosted at the West St George Secondary School.
